Advanced, time-lapse video incubator systems (Embryoscopes), which provide the most stable, nurturing environment for growing human embryos
A LifeAire air purification system, which removes harmful volatile organic compounds, airborne germs and invisible dusts from the room air
Special light fixtures to eliminate harmful light spectrum exposure to embryos and gametes
New laser technology to improve embryo manipulation and biopsy
A state-of-the-art security system to monitor critical lab equipment around the clock and to prevent unauthorized access to the lab
Other Laboratory Research
The Division faculty and fellows participate in a wide variety of translational reproductive research ongoing in the wet and dry labs of internationally acknowledged investigators in the Department of OBGYN. These research programs are independently funded by substantial grants from the NIH or the Gates Foundation.
